Position Summary:
We are looking for a project Manager who will oversee and manage multiple projects' entire lifecycle of construction, engineering, interior designing and turn key projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget and quality. This role involves leading a team, coordinating site operations, handling procurement, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining communication with stakeholders, PMC & consultants. The Project Manager will work closely with directors, site supervisors, design team and other teams to ensure smooth project execution, address any issues that arise, and maintain high standards of work throughout the
project.
Key Responsibilities:
A) Project Planning & Coordination:
● Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring all project stages are clearly defined with milestones, timelines, resources and progress led billing.
● Coordinate with the internal team (design, engineering, procurement, accounts & sites) to ensure all technical details, drawings, and specifications are in place before site work begins.
● Collaborate with senior management and the design team to translate client requirements into feasible and practical construction plans.
● Review and finalize project budgets, schedules, and timelines, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
● Procure necessary construction materials and equipment, forecasting requirements in advance, and ensuring adherence to budget limitations.
● Obtain client approvals for key milestones and project stages as required, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
B) Procurement & Resource Management:
● Oversee the procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services in compliance with project specifications and client agreements for multiple projects.
● Work with the Accounts team to ensure procurement processes align with budget constraints and ensure timely payments for suppliers and contractors.
● Ensure resources are adequately available for project execution, and track inventory and material usage, maintaining effective stock management practices.
● Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all materials meet the required quality standards before procurement.
C) Site Management & Operations:
● Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring that construction activities are executed according to the project plan and within safety standards.
● Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and vendors to ensure that work is completed on time and to the highest standards.
● Ensure the work environment adheres to safety standards and regulations, taking appropriate actions to address any safety hazards or concerns.
● Track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring that key activities are completed on schedule.
● Act as the primary point of contact for site-related issues, resolving conflicts or delays with subcontractors, vendors, or team members.
● Monitor labor productivity, quality, and performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain project goals.
D) Resource Planning and Billing Coordination:
● Proactively forecast the requirements for labor, materials, and machinery at project sites.
● Research and leverage the existing knowledge base to identify and source vendors and contractors for various site requirements.
● Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely procurement of manpower, materials, and machinery.
● Prepare, review, and provide final validation for bills submitted by contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders related to site activities.
E) Communication & Stakeholder Management:
● Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and senior management.
● Attend regular site meetings and update the director and clients on project progress, quality assurance, and any potential issues or risks.
● Manage client relations, ensuring that their requirements and expectations are understood and met throughout the project.
● Prepare and present regular project status reports, including progress, budget, risks, and key achievements, to senior management and clients.
● Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to address any quality concerns, ensuring alignment between project progress and quality standards.
F) Team Leadership & Development:
● Lead and supervise the project team, including site supervisors, engineers, and contractors, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication.
● Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting their professional development and ensuring they understand project goals and quality expectations.
● Conduct performance reviews periodically and provide constructive feedback to ensure team efficiency and motivation.
● Organize and conduct training for new team members on site-specific protocols and safety standards.
● Create a positive work environment focused on high-quality standards and team cohesion.
● Ensure daily reporting from all sites and team members for maintaining a thorough progress report periodically to present in front of the department heads.
G) Compliance & Risk Management:
● Ensure all project activities comply with local regulations, site safety standards, site office maintenance as per industry standards, and client requirements.
● Identify and manage project risks, including safety hazards, material shortages, and potential delays, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
● Oversee the creation and maintenance of project documentation, ensuring proper reporting and record-keeping for regulatory compliance like safety management at sites.
● Continuously monitor the progress of the project, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain quality, timelines, and budget.
H) Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving:
● Identify areas for improvement in the project management process, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
● Address issues that arise during the project, providing timely and effective solutions to avoid delays and ensure project success.
● Review post-project evaluations and feedback, integrating lessons learned into future project management strategies to improve performance.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with hands-on experience in managing large-scale, high end luxury residential and commercial projects.
● Strong understanding of construction processes, budgets, timelines, and risk management.
● Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
● Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with an ability to handle project risks and conflicts effectively.

● Quality and Compliance: Strong commitment to maintaining quality standards and
ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Additional Notes:
● This role may require regular site visits and occasional extended hours.
● The Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring that all projects are completed on
time, within scope, and to the required quality standards while keeping client
satisfaction a top priority.
