Position: Senior Android Developer.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to create seamless user experiences and ensure the best performance and quality of our Android applications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Working experience in Android app development and have published at least one original Android app.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java.
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
  • Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI integration in mobile applications will be a plus.
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration.
  • Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
