Job Summary:


The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all quality control

processes and personnel within the organization. The role involves developing, implementing,

and maintaining quality standards to ensure products meet regulatory and company requirements.

The QC Manager will work closely with production teams, suppliers, and customers to address

quality issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve the quality of products.



Key Responsibilities:


1. Quality Management System:

o Develop and implement Quality Control policies, procedures, and systems.

o Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure

compliance with industry standards and regulations.

o Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs).


2. Inspection and Testing:

o Oversee all stages of product inspection, testing, and evaluation to ensure

compliance with specifications and standards.

o Implement sampling procedures and statistical analysis to evaluate product

quality.

o Ensure that testing equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.


3. Team Management:

o Lead, mentor, and train the QC team to ensure a high level of performance and

competence.

o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to QC staff.

o Schedule and oversee daily activities of the QC team.


4. Non-Conformance Management:

o Investigate and manage non-conformances, customer complaints, and product

recalls.

o Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address root causes of

quality issues.

o Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related problems.


5. Continuous Improvement:

o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce

waste, and improve efficiency.

o Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements to prevent

recurrence of quality issues.

o Benchmark best practices and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.


6. Supplier Quality Management:

o Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality

standards.

o Conduct supplier audits and assessments to verify compliance with quality

requirements.

o Manage and resolve quality issues related to supplier materials.


7. Compliance and Documentation:

o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and

customer specifications.

o Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, inspections, and

audits.

o Prepare reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement plans.


8. Customer Relations:

o Work closely with customers to understand their quality expectations and address

any concerns.

o Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent future

issues.

o Communicate quality-related information to customers and stakeholders

effectively.



Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.

 Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Control, with at least 3 years

in a managerial role.

 Certifications: Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality certification is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

 Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean,

SPC).

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

 Strong leadership and team management abilities.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

 Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

 Proficiency in quality management software and tools.



Work Environment:

 Primarily office-based, with regular visits to production areas and supplier sites.

 Occasional travel may be required for supplier audits and customer meetings.
