About the Role
The Administrative Manager will oversee and coordinate all administrative operations at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient functioning of the institute by managing facilities, compliance, staff coordination, and other operational aspects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day administrative activities, ensuring smooth functioning across departments.
- Develop and implement efficient office processes and procedures.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and resources.
- Ensure proper maintenance of campus infrastructure, including classrooms, offices, hostels, and other facilities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
- Manage safety and security measures on the premises.
- Prepare and monitor administrative budgets.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies.
- Maintain accurate records of administrative expenses and contracts.
- Provide logistical support for academic and non-academic events, including conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Manage event infrastructure, coordination, and post-event reporting.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per agreed terms.
- Act as a liaison between administrative staff and other departments.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in administrative management, preferably in an academic institution.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office software and tools (MS Office, ERP systems).
- Ability to manage budgets and handle vendor negotiations.
- Knowledge of compliance and statutory regulations in educational institutions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in event management.
- Knowledge of facility management best practices.
