HR Business Partner will align staff to business objectives, enhance staff performance, support colleague development, enhance recruitment efforts, plan strategic HR initiatives, manage orientation and onboarding processes, communicate role expectations, design succession plans, maintain staff relations, manage internships, update policies and practices, and oversee wellness and health initiatives.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

Leads the development, implementation and administration of company HR programs within the region, that meet current needs while also anticipating future business and talent trends. Responsible for coordinating and administering activities in a majority of HR functions including process improvements, performance management, employee relations and succession planning, learning and organization development, diversity, records and benefits. Works with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to drive forward recruitment processes and talent management initiatives to meet business objectives. Advises management regarding personnel policy and process matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions as consistent with strategic direction. Assists the HR organization during the annual performance management, salary planning and benefits enrolment processes (and all other annual HR programs) Consults and partners with leaders in achieving company objectives. Coaches and guides managers on leadership skills and management styles that align with our values and corporate culture. Counsels’ colleagues and managers concerning work-related problems and explains HR policies and programs. Provides support and communication on corporate values and organizational change. Leads the HR team in APAC including coaching and guiding of the team in all aspects of their role. Manages the relationship with external vendors & partners. Works on strategic projects such as acquisitions, reorganisations and structural changes.

Additional Information:

The role is required to work from Sphera’s Bangalore office 3 days per week.
