Responsibilities

 

HR Business Partner

 

  • The Senior HR Business Partner will be a trusted consultant to our employees and managers, using their HR expertise and consulting skills to solve business challenges. 
  • The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of motivation, communicate, influence, and collaborate effectively with all levels while demonstrating a willingness to be hands-on.
  • Coach and consult with managers and employees by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees as needed. (Performance development, employee engagement/morale).
  • Conduct and manage investigations of complaints and concerns, assess root causes and recommend appropriate next steps including corrective action as needed.
  • Partner with management team to determine, deploy, and analyze organizational assessments (e.g., Employee Pulse Checks, performance consulting tools/metrics, training) to provide data-driven recommendations and action plans to managers.
  • Provide oversight of the staffing process including salary recommendations and approvals.
  • Drive the annual performance, compensation review and sales incentive process for assigned groups.
  • Assist with regular leadership and succession planning sessions and implement action plans to ensure succession ready bench and development of high potentials.
  • Support fellow HR employees on projects that support designated client groups and/or company-wide HR initiatives. 
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. 
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Interpret and apply company policies, facilitate HR initiatives, conduct HR support functions such as orientation sessions, exit interviews and preparing and presenting unemployment claims.
  • Serve as contact for employees; answer question regarding policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications

 

•    5-8 years Generalist/HR Business Partner experience supporting multiple local and remote customers.
•    Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact.
•    Ability to quickly learn new skills, systems and procedures adaptable.
•    Experience with change management practices and organizational design and development.
•    Full knowledge of legal implications of the employment relationship.
•    Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills. Ability to establish and sustain relationships at all levels of the organization.
•    Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and utilize data to influence business decisions.
•    Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices.
•    Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
•    Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines with ease; excellent project management skills.
•    Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a team member.
•    Office Experience Microsoft Office, Reporting Skills, Verbal Communication, Administrative and Writing Skills.
•    Bachelor Degree in related field. Additional HR Certification from recognized professional affiliation is desirable.
