As the Senior Research Scientist, you will be responsible for developing innovative algorithms in the fields of encryption, decryption, signal processing, computational photography, and cryptography.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and data collection experts, to bring these algorithms to production. Your role will also involve designing experiments, collaborating with external consultants, and contributing to the academic and professional community through publications and patent filings.
What will you do?
•Develop and innovate new algorithms in one or more of the following domains Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Computational Photography, and Cryptography to address complex challenges in brand protection and anticounterfeit solutions
• Partner with data scientists to ensure that developed algorithms are effectively implemented and optimized for production environments.
• Work closely with the data collection team to ensure accurate and relevant data is gathered to support the development and testing of new algorithms.
• Lead the design and execution of experiments to validate and refine algorithms, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
• Collaborate with external consultants and industry expertsto leverage additional knowledge and expertise, enhancing the effectiveness and innovation of Ennoventure's solutions.
• Contribute to the academic community by publishing research findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• File patents to protect intellectual property and maintain Ennoventure’s competitive edge in the market.
• Support Product and Engineering teams in integrating new innovations into the core product.
• Stay current with industry trends and Advancements in Computer Vision, Signal Processing and Cryptography technologies
Requirements• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with focus on Computer Vision
• Minimum of 5+ years of research experience in one or more of Computer Vision, Signal Processing, Computational Photography, or Cryptography.
• Extensive knowledge in Computer Vision, particularly in (a) Object Detection, Classification, and Recognition, or (b) Computational Photography.
Familiarity with video processing is an added advantage.
• Proven track record of developing innovative algorithms and taking them to production.
• Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis.
• Experience in filing patents and publishing papers in top tier conferences and/or Journals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a broad audience.
