Exchange-focused — which includes optimizing the flow of traffic between supply and demand partners and maximizing value for our partners.

Who You Are

We are currently seeking a Backend Staff Engineer to join our growing team. Our Backend Staff Engineer role includes research, design, development, and maintenance of our AI platform for exchange optimization, spanning several technologies. This role would be based in our Pune, India office.

What You Will Do

Designing, developing, and researching cutting-edge end-to-end Machine Learning Systems with real-time feedback, across our programmatic stack — covering Go, Java & Python.Collaborate with platform/runtime backend team(s) to provide experimental interfaces for testing and development of online approachesFocusing on scalable operations with automation: Supervised — Human Assisted Frameworks; Unsupervised — Self Learning Policy Driven FrameworksOwning and maintaining ETL processes to leverage/extract/process/evaluate complex, high volume, high-dimensional datasets independently or in collaboration with our data platform teamsProviding custom datasets curated for specific research purposes from production event flowDeveloping a Machine Learning Platform supporting our optimization needsBring data science prototypes to productionSupporting, maintaining, and enriching existing ML frameworks and librariesContribute to reducing business problems into optimization problems by assessing technical feasibility and operational constraints

What You Will Bring

10+ years experience working as a senior ML Engineer or senior research engineer in industry (preferably in advertising) is a must. Experience as a staff engineer is desirable

Proven hands-on experience delivering interdisciplinary data science products in production covering design and implementation across backend, data and ML stacks.

A postgraduate degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Applied Mathematics & Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics or other quantitative and computational disciplines)

Proficiency with Go or Java is required

Proficiency with Python desirable

Proficient with ML Ops Tools and common ML libraries

Experience with developing or supporting high performance distributed systems (preferably online systems),

Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems,

Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented and constantly changing environment
