The Analytics Consultant works with Senior Manager, Reporting & Analytics and Business Relationship Managers on large scale implementations or projects. The incumbent is responsible for designing and implementing Advanced Analytics reports and dashboards to enable visibility, analysis and business insights to support strategic imperatives and ongoing business requirements. Advanced Analytics solutions include, but are not limited to, end-user reports and dashboards, creating data models, advanced & custom data visualizations, native connectivity to multiple data sources and data ingestion from web forms and various business applications. A person in this role would have a key responsibility of reviewing and helping other developers in enhancing dashboard performance with better user Interface (UI) and in incorporating features for enhanced user experience (UX). In this role, one would be also responsible for establishing standard methodologies for making dashboards with enhanced UI/UX. This role will involve working closely with other global data analysts, Data engineers and Business relationship managers within the Data and Analytics group for collaboration.

What will you be doing?

(30%) - Build and/or enhance dashboards with better user interface for exceptional user experience. Guide team in incorporating principles of UI/UX to the dashboards for better usability and experience. Establish standard processes for team to follow while developing dashboards following UI/UX principles. (30%) - Design, develop, and deploy high fidelity operational (transparency into what's happening now), strategic (track key performance indicators) and analytical (process data to identify trends, forecasts, and insights) reports and dashboards. The implementation process shall follow industry standards and best practices to ensure the security of information and user access points when deploying Business Analytical solutions. (10%)- Support & maintain the analytics user experience, adoption and release management cycle of dashboard/report content, administration, and user maintenance. Ensuring all procedural documentation is up to date. (15%) - Use standard customer engagement methods & tools for guided analytics, online training, and educational materials for the transfer/sharing of knowledge and mentor end-users. (15%) - Work with Data Engineers to drive automation, process improvements and resource productivity. Analyze and propose solutions to sophisticated problems using business and technical knowledge.

What will you need to be successful?

Education : Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience in degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.

Licenses/ Certifications :

Power BI Desktop Certification highly desirable. UI/UX certificates preferred ex- UX Certification by google Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Office tools including significant capabilities with PowerApps , Excel and Power Point. Azure/Snowflake Cloud DB, Azure DevOps experience preferred.

Experience

5+ years of extensive Power BI standard & custom visual development, design, wireframing, storyboarding/storytelling experience. Demonstrable experience in implementing dashboards with advanced UI/UX functionality. Strong SQL knowledge required. Experience with SLDC or Agile Methodology using Azure DevOps or JIRA. Experience with ETL and data science application preferable. Expert designer of information visualizations and dashboards. Solid understanding of data analysis, modelling, report generation and warehousing/data stores concepts. Expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate preferable. Must have a high level of digital literacy with desktop and cloud-based productivity software such as Office365, Microsoft Office desktop applications, Microsoft Teams etc. Expert in selecting the right dashboard design and deployment method for business Requirements. Able to translate technical speak into business speak and vice versa, rationalize technical decisions to business. Integrity with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices. Must be comfortable working at all levels of the organization and possess platform skills, presence, and confidence. Possess the ability to understand business strategy. Self-motivated and be able to work independently as well as lead teams in technical/business discussions. Effective interpersonal skills and succinct articulation. Ability to drive business requirements discussions. Hands on, able to work with and mentor team members.
