Aboutthe Role:

We are seeking ahighly motivated and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our dynamicteam. The ideal candidate will possess a strongunderstanding of pricing strategies ecommerceand data analysis. This role will beinstrumental in monitoring competitor pricing as well asdeveloping and implementing effectivepricing strategies that drive revenue andprofitability.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Skillfully monitor and assess a vast array of hardware productsacross the manufacturing distribution and retailsectors offered by the company.
  • Conductsecondary market research to understand pricing trends competitorpricing and consumer behavior acrossmarketplaces to inform pricing strategies.
  • Leverageexisting data and insights from industryreports and related publications UseGoogle Analytics to track user behavior analyze traffic sources andevaluate the impact of pricing changes onsales performance and conversion rates.
  • Analyzesales data cost structures and pricing models to identifyopportunities for pricing optimization andprofitability improvement.
  • Analyzesales data to identify highperforming products and developstrategies to enhance their marketpresence while also pinpointing underperforming products andimplementing targeted initiatives toimprove their sales performance.
  • Continuouslymonitor pricing effectiveness and market changes making adjustmentsas necessary and regularly assesscompetitor pricing strategies and marketdynamics to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assistin demand forecasting by analyzing historical sales data and markettrends to predict future pricing and salesperformance.
  • Preparedetailed reports and presentations on pricing performance markettrends and recommendations for managementand stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance Marketing Operations Analyticsor Masters degree in Economics Mathematics or relatedfields
  • 13 / 25 years ofexperience in pricing analysis business intelligence marketresearch or a related field preferably within ecommerceor manufacturing industries(preferablyconstruction and building materials or home improvementproducts)
  • Proven record ofexperience with Google Analytics including relevant certificationsdemonstrating the ability to effectively analyze webtraffic and user behavior.

Desired Skills:

  • Understanding of dynamic pricing strategiesincluding the ability to analyze market conditions andadjust prices based on demand andcompetition
  • Proficiency in Exceldata analysis software (e.g. SQL R Python) and pricingsoftware or tools
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)is a plus
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionableinsights
  • High level of accuracyand attention to detail in all aspects of work
  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills with the ability to present findings clearly tovarious stakeholders
  • Stronginterpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in ateam environment

Preferred Skills:

Existing knowledge of market research firms/industryreport providers such as Nielson as well as dataplatforms such as Amazon Product Advertising API or eBayAPI.
