Job Description:  

a.       Functional Expertise:

a.       Gather and analyze key procurement data.

b.       Should be an expert to understand the procurement principles, strategies and techniques.

c.       Understand Category management and business impacts.

d.       Understand and work on SAP MM module to meet the stakeholder requirement.

e.       Use of tables relations and transactions in SAP for purchasing data integrations.

b.       Technology Driver

a.       Understand current technology infrastructure and suggest improvements.

b.       Know database structure, dataset, and data strategies to efficiently build and automate unique reporting styles across business groups, plants and purchasing organizations.

c.       Create data models, visualizations, charts, tables, and reports for use by non-technical users to provide actionable insights and inspire business decisions.

d.       Utilize Power BI/ SAP /Sharepoint/EveryAngle and other tools like SSMS to mine, manipulate and clean data in order to produce automated reports and global dashboards.

e.       Analysis of spend reporting (e.g., process and supplier performance, analytics, periodic and adhoc reporting).

c.       Reporting & Dashboard Management

a.       Design, deliver & maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Microsoft Power BI / Excel/ SSMS.

b.       Interprets data analyses by applying findings to contextual settings; and developing insights, reports, and presentations telling a compelling story to the stakeholders to enable and influence decision making; and providing context related to data interpretations and/or limitations as appropriate.

c.       Assist in complex analysis and report development.

d.       Design, deliver & maintain reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

e.       Use and implement DAX queries for resolving simple to critical data issues.

f.        Create data models, visualizations, charts, tables, and reports for use by non-technical users to provide actionable insights and inspire business decisions.

g.       Use Azure cloud service for getting data into Power BI.

h.       Use SSMS for data cleansing and extracting purpose for Power BI. 

d.       Process Improvements

a.       Monitor and evaluate process, reports and resolution of reported issues to ensure rapid turnaround and effective communication concerning backlogs, known issues, or methods to prevent recurrence.

b.       Considering both back-end organization of data and front-end user accessibility, assist in the testing and implementation of process and dataset improvements.

e.       System Improvement

a.       Prepare, maintain, and execute procedures for proper data entry, data reporting and output formats such as dashboards which are customized by-category, by-region, by-buyer reports etc.

b.       Troubleshoot data issues and track any discovered data discrepancies back to their source.

f.        Purchasing Data management

a.       Prepare, maintain, and execute procedures for proper data entry, data reporting and output formats such as dashboards which are customized by-category, by-region, by-buyer reports etc.

b.       Prepare and maintain the master reference data for reporting and clean up as and when required.

g.       Stakeholder management

a.       Meet business stakeholders to collect data, assist in datasets, clarify datasets and document reporting requirements as and when required and / or on frequent basis.

b.       Collaborate with business partners and leaders to rapidly prototype, produce and refine reports based on the value addition requirements.

c.       Work with leadership teams to prioritize business and information requirements.

d.       Assist with user requests; Prepare and maintain Reports and analyses the report and share with internal customers.

e.       Maintain relationships with the data providers from various regions, plants and prepare the reports to ensure a robust purchasing data integrity system with timely and accurate updates.

h.       Documentation

a.       Able to manage the ISO documentation and maintain it efficiently.

b.       Prepare the ISO documentation, SOP’s, Scope documents for reports and processes.

Experience requirement:


1.       Must have’s

a.       4-5+ Years of experience in Purchasing Analytics

b.       Expert in Power BI Software

c.       Expert in handling SSMS

d.       Expert in writing SQL queries and joins

e.       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

f.        Analytical mindset

g.       Proficient in Python or complex DAX queries

h.       Proficient in SAP, MS office tools.

i.         Very good presentation and Documentation skills

j.         Skills required.

                                                 ii.      Outstanding interpersonal skills.

                                               iii.      Research and Analytical skills.

                                               iv.      Confident and reliable.

2.       Good to have’s: Preference would be given to candidates with below.

a.       Proficient in SaaS.

b.       Proficient in Coding languages like R, SParx, Oracle, Python.

c.       Good to have knowledge in handling Azure cloud services.

d.       The one who worked in manufacturing company and know the procurement processes.

Educational Qualification requirement:

Bachelor's degree in engineering in Computer, IT, E&Tc or any engineering stream.
