Position : Manager Engineering Mechanical(DCS) Job location : AhmedabadSalary : 18 LPA Development and review ofschematic concept and detailed design of Mechanical systems for thecentralized chilled water plants
Preparation of Designbasis repot (DBR) technical specifications and bill of materials(BOM)
Preparation of BOQ cost estimates and develop costbenchmarking for the central chiller plants.
Liaisingwith OEMs and other technical groups to bring in best in classcost/energy efficient technologies and innovation.
Keepcompletely updated about the latest HVAC trends in themarket.
Preparation of lifecycle cost analysis for theprojects
Design and sizing of all the mechanicalequipment in a central chiller plant like Chillers Pumps Piping.Cooling tower and other mechanical systems/equipment
Preparation of Tender packages and contract documents forTendering
Review of Tender documents from OEMsconsultants contractors and prepare technical clarifications andlist of deviations when required. Review ofpump head calculations and ventilation calculations for plant roomsand electrical substations associated with the central chillerplants.
Manage all the design deliverable to meettimeframe budget and quality constraints.
Undertakenecessary engineering coordination during procurement andconstruction. Testing & Commissioning and Operation &Maintenance phase
Work collaboratively with all otherdepartments and other technical development teams
Carryout technical site due diligence as a part of Merger &Acquisition of projects for both High side and low side HVACassets.
Sound knowledge on Codes and Standards NBCASHRAE BS CIBSE etc. Shall be capable ofhighlevel review of electrical SLDs.
Preparation ofdeliverable list & schedule Manhour estimate resourcerequirement and Progress report
Conversant with relevantdesign softwares to facilitate the design of central chillerplant.
Good understanding of CFD and Stressanalysis
Maintain proper engineering database in thecentral folder in a structured manner.
Ensuring theorganization adheres to legal frameworks in areas such asdiscipline & grievance redundancy and employment law
Ensure compliance to all relevant health safety and environmentalmanagement policies procedures and controls across the departmentto guarantee employee safety legislative compliance and aresponsible environmental attitude.
