We are seeking a talented individual to join our S enior Business Transformation & Strategy (Internal) t eam at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurugram/Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Business Transformation & Strategy (Internal) Specialist

What can you expect:

Mercer is seeking a Program Manager with experience in designing, project managing and executingcomplex operational change. You will need to be a strategic thinker with experience of working on target operating models and M&A type projects and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of how an organization works. Reporting to the Global Transformation & Change Delivery Team within the Operations & Technology organization, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and executing transformation programs to deliver key strategic initiatives for the organization

Engagement with key C-Suite Stakeholders to gain effective buy-in and ensure organizational resources are available.

To build and maintain effective relationships with senior business partners and third parties and help facilitate timely decision making and trade-offs.

We will count on you to:

Lead and manage highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year international programs and projects, ensuring successful delivery of key strategic initiatives.

Support C-Suite business leaders and staff in scoping, defining, planning, and executing programs and projects, validating and quantifying assumptions.

Translate requirements into tangible outputs, outcomes, and benefits.

Develop detailed program delivery roadmaps, including resources, outcomes, schedules, costs, assumptions, dependencies, and business integration plans for large-scale, complex strategic initiatives.

Serve as a subject matter expert in design and delivery, providing guidance and support to the wider business in defining the right approaches and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.

Foster effective relationships with senior business partners and third-party vendors, facilitating timely decision-making and communication of progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders

What you need to have:

10 years of professional services experience, with 6+ years in designing and implementing changes to operating models .

Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager leading large and complex programs across matrix structured organizations, ideally across continents/regions.

Proven track record in managing and coordinating implementation with teams across different locations, including off-shoring/near-shoring teams.

Strong understanding of change management principles and the ability to drive sustainable changes within the organization.
