AWS Developer


Primary Responsibilities

Design develop test driven development deployoperate and optimize applications that meet the expectations andneeds of our customers E2E

Interact with othersoftware engineers quality engineers technical writers and productmanagement to understand customer needs and then implement anddevelop high value features and product functionality

Define and conduct tests mainly automatic to ensuresuccessful application startup;

Support theintegration and deployment of solutions;

Ensurethe proper functioning of applications by analysing and respondingto anomalies through automated monitoring

Setup monitoring phases and ensure the quality of production

You will participate in all stages of the productdevelopment while following a personalized integration pathallowing you to follow training and master ourmethodologies

Work in Agileenvironment

Very familiar with Agile to be ableto manage source code and continues integration.

Internalize the practices to coach internal and externalcustomers

Contribute to functionalspecifications and product roadmap

ability anddesire to learn new tools as required is an absolute must


Required Qualifications


314 years ofhands on experience in software design and development focused onSaaS or Enterprise software product development;

Experience of the following technologies tools andlanguages:

o Languages:

Python (preferred)

Windows PowerShell

bash or other Linux shell scripting

Serverside JavaScript with Node.js

TypeScriptor Java


o AWS(knowledge is not limited to only these areas)

Lambda (using the languages above)

CloudFormation (or HashiCorp s Terraform tool which outputsCloudFormation templates) a.k.a. the general term Infrastructure asCode (IaC)

EC2

CodeCommit /CodeBuild / CodePipeline or other nonAWS CI/CD toolsuites

S3

DynamoDB (or anynonAWS NoSQL database experience; SQL experience is helpful butless so without any NoSQL)

VPC

CloudWatch/CloudTrail

IAM

Systems Manager


o Tools

GIT / GitHub or any SCMtool

Junit

Jenkins

Jira or any bug trackingsystems

Good to know DockerKubernetes


oOperating System

Linux Flavour (preferred RedHat / CentOS Amazon Linux but any breed is ok as long as theknowledge and experience is there). Including good user levelcommand knowledge and some system administration knowledge(configuring and maintaining a server).

Windows(2012 / 2016 any other server editions). Including some WindowsServer administration knowledge.


1 year of experience as aminimum of Agile methodology (especially Scrum).

The ability to own a functionality (from design todeliver) to fit the needs of the team and the product

The ability to perform customer acceptance throughquality assurance as part of a crossfunctional team

Excellent troubleshooting skills specifically involvedwith the development of innovative enterprise grade software

A level of technical English is required(active participation in meetings in English technical conversationreading and writing of technical documents);




Desired Qualifications


Any AWSCertification is big plus.

Hands on experiencein design and developing solutions with cloud technologies such asAWS Vsphere Azure etc

Experience working withsoftware engineering source control management and build tools (e.gJenkins Rational Perforce etc.)

Proficiency inone or more defect tracking and test case management softwaresystems

Development/scripting experience withone or more of the following Java C# Selenium JavaScript Perl PHPShell Scripting Python etc.

Knowledge ofoperating complex applications on any Linux variant

Experience with techniques such as TDD continuousdelivery and test coverage

Experience withperformance automation testing focused across multiple areas suchas scalability response and load.

Comfortableworking in an Agile software engineering environment with a focuson the principals and values espoused in the AgileManifesto

Bachelor s degree in computer scienceor a related field
