Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership
  • Drive the technical design of data platforms using open-source and hybrid cloud technologies.
  • Set and implement data engineering standards and design templates.

RequirementsMust-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
  • Proven ability to analyze business problems and deliver enterprise-scale data solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform/BigQuery.
  • Proficiency in Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Kafka).
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and data governance tools.
  • Strong scripting and stream-processing knowledge.
Preferred Skills:
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Contributions to open-source data solutions.
  • Certifications in GCP or other data warehousing technologies.
  • Experience in agile development environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
