Network- Security Engineer – L2 (Pune)

Job Description

• Should have good knowledge & hands-on experience: Cisco, Citrix NetScaler, Checkpoint, FortiGate, Palo Alto

& Juniper (JNAS) products.

• Produce and maintain documentation on installations, incidents, and procedures.

• L2 level of troubleshooting and resolution of problems on Load Balancers, Firewalls & Software Defined

Networking.

• Responsible for all Network Security and Services including Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxies, Remote Access,

Streaming Media, WAN Acceleration, Wireless and DNS.

• Must be able to deploy load balancers for Citrix NetScaler and Software Defined Networking. Understand load

balancing strategies/techniques, expertise in application switching/traffic management.

• Need to have complete understanding of basic load balancer configurations, including migrating

configurations and general troubleshooting of the load balancers. Preferred experience on IP Routing (BGP &

OSPF), SSL Termination, Ethernet Switching, VPN's, QoS, WAN Acceleration, IP Services such as DNS, Web

Proxy, Socks, Multicast, and geographic and/or local server load balancing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to put requirements into operational scenarios and

communicate effectively with management and customers.

Eligibility

• Relevant Experience: 2 to 4 years

• Academic Criteria: BE /BTech/ MCA/ MTech (Preferably CS/ IT / ECE)

• Technical certifications: CCNA, CCDA |Preferred CCNP or CCDP would be an added advantage.

• Job Location: Pune
