Overview:TheAutomation Engineer Playwright plays a crucial role in thedevelopment and implementation of automated test scripts andframeworks using Playwright. This role is essential in ensuring thequality performance and reliability of software applications andsystems through automated testing. The Automation EngineerPlaywright collaborates closely with crossfunctional teams toanalyze requirements design test scenarios and execute automatedtests contributing to the continuous improvement of softwaredevelopment processes.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop andmaintain automated test scripts and frameworks usingPlaywright.
  • Collaborate with the developmentand quality assurance teams to identify test requirements andscenarios.
  • Execute and analyze automated testresults to identify defects and performanceissues.
  • Participate in code reviews andcontribute to the improvement of testing strategies andprocesses.
  • Create and maintain testdocumentation including test plans reports andanalysis.
  • Contribute to the implementation andmaintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment(CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities fortest automation and advocate for best practices in testautomation.
  • Perform root cause analysis ofproduction issues and contribute to resolution and preventionstrategies.
  • Stay updated with industry bestpractices and emerging trends in test automation andPlaywright.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensuretimely delivery of highquality softwaresolutions.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in automated testingusing Playwright for webapplications.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript andTypeScript for test automationscripting.
  • Strong understanding of softwaredevelopment lifecycle and quality assuranceprocesses.
  • Experience with continuousintegration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools andpractices.
  • Ability to analyze complex systemsand troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills to work effectively in ateam environment.
  • Solid understanding of webtechnologies such as HTML CSS and DOMmanipulation.
  • Knowledge of performance testingand familiarity with tools like Puppeteer or Selenium is aplus.
  • Certifications in software testing orrelated areas is aplus.
