Responsibilities

Within Societe Generale Global Solution Center (SGGSC), you will join Cybersec Capability team based out of Bengaluru, working in Application security team to contribute in the vulnerablity management team.

The candidate will be involved in the appsec activities, This implies working relations with extended Business lines and application teams.

The candidate will be working in a high-pressure environment, it calls for assertiveness and flexibility to ensure deadlines are met based on agreements / defined milestones

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security & Risk specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 -3 years of experience in appsec, vulnerability management, pentesting.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting appsec assessments and audits of the company's information security systems, processes, and controls. You will work closely with the Information Security team and other stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential security risks, and provide recommendations for mitigating and managing these risks.

The main responsibilities as a lead & performer are:

Perform pentest planning and coordination Vulnerability management , remediation and tracking Pentesting basics Work in close coordination with global Function Manager and local line manage

Responsibilities

The functional security expert has the following missions: ·To supporting the IT projects of the GSC to identify the business issues of information protection and the associated security requirements. To carry out risk analyses and to identify remediation plans. To present residual risks to the various project stakeholders for acceptance To organize and manage Penetration testing and code audit for GSC applications. Vulnerability management

Profile required

Vulnerability management Should have MS Excel skill to work on the Security Audit/Operations

Stakeholder Management

Application Managers, Application Developers, Security experts, Security officers, Delivery team Develop and maintain a strong connect with stake holders. Anticipate the client needs to maintain an excellent relationship Build effective synergy with cross-functional units

Qualifications:

• or equivalent degree in IT/Computer science, Cyber Security or Information Technology stream • Additional Skills (Nice to Have): • Security Certificate such as CEH, CompTIA Security, AWS/Azure Security certifications • Worked on Risk Analysis and Security Recommendation. • Development knowledge. Worked in SDLC. • Experience in VAPT, SAST, DAST and Vulnerability management

Abilities/skills required:

Strong customer service Self-starter with ability to manage own workload and deliverables along with others Good communication skills, especially the ability to persuade and influence others Excellent analytical skills Ability to be flexible, organize and prioritize work Expert negotiation and influencing skills Team motivational skills Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines Quick understanding of upstream and downstream linkage
