Shouldsuggest or improve designs with DFMA FMEAapproach.
Mustdesign and develop jigs and fixtures for ease of assembly orproduction.
Exposureto the shop floor and CNC machines ispreferable.
Exposureto Solid works ispreferable.
Collectionof inputs at customers site by Hand sketches and ReverseEngineering.

Requirements
  • MaintainingProduct documents for allProducts.
  • Makingchanges to easy assembly and manufacturing of parts to improve themanufacturability and improve the quality of the product throughoutits lifecycle.
  • Workingwith R&D and CSD team to improve maintenance factors ofproducts.
  • Doingcost analysis to reduce costs or logisticalchallenges.
  • Goodin understanding productionmethods.
  • Shouldbe able to communicate with departments to understand design andget workdone.
  • BOMcreation Versioncontrol.
  • Drawinggeneration with ISO standards & GDNTsymbols.


Job Description: Person with hands-on experience on New productdevelopment, Design & development, manufacturing and assemblingof critical mechanical components preferably from Defence or SPMindustries. Should have involved in ECN and ECR through a productor assembly life cycle. Must have strong problem-solving skills forease of manufacturing, assembly, fabrication etc Should suggest orimprove designs with DFMA, FMEA approach. Must design and developjigs and fixtures for ease of assembly or production. Exposure toshop floor and CNC machines is preferable. Exposure in Solid worksis preferable Collection of inputs at customer's site by Handsketches & Reverse Engineering Desired candidate profile:Maintaining Product Document for all Products Making changes toeasy assembly and manufacturing of parts to improvemanufacturability and improve quality of Product throughout itslife cycle Working with R&D and CSD team to improve maintenancefactors of products Doing cost analysis to reduce costs orlogistical challenges. Good at understanding production methods,Should be able to communicate with departments to understand designand get work done BOM creation, Version control Drawing generationwith ISO standards & GDNT symbols
