Job Profile:

Amagi is looking for an Ad Operations Manager to join the team who will be responsible for the optimal ad operations workflow between different platforms and systems in the ad serving ecosystem (SSAI, HLS, ad server, RTB, programmatic platforms, DSP, SSP). The role includes execution and oversight for ad tag implementation, QA, optimizations, and reporting. The Ad Operations Manager should be able to identify, troubleshoot and remedy implementation.

to structure the optimal ad operations workflow between different platforms and systems in the ad serving ecosystem (SSAI, HLS, ad server, RTB, programmatic platforms, DSP, SSP)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of all supply/demand related set up, configuration, trafficking and troubleshooting across multiple ad serving systems/stacks.
    Working closely with product on new ad code deployments across devices, channels and OEMs
  • Collect best practices and requirements, monitor key value parameters to ensure highest adoption of targeting across partners, and ensure data is being properly passed to/from platforms
  • Collaborating with channel onboarding team to ensure tags are working properly when launching new channels
  • Collaborating with our SaaS Cloud Playout team to onboard new SSAI clients for direct & reseller monetization.
  • Monitoring ad yield and identifying areas of improvement
    Managing inventory quality and working with 3rd party verification companies to review ad logs and root out potential IVT
  • Troubleshooting of tags from content and supply partners
  • Effectively resolve open projects and tickets and communicate cross functionally.
  • Re-prioritize work as needed, understand inbound requests and upcoming deadlines across the business.
  • Execute ad-hoc troubleshooting requests from both internal and external partners.

Skills and Expertise Required:

  • Strong experience in the ad serving ecosystem (SSAI, HLS, ad server, RTB, programmatic platforms, DSP, SSP)
  • Familiarity working with multiple video ad serving systems, preferably SpringServe and Publica
  • Expertise in Header Bidding, VAST, VPAID and Open RTB protocols
  • Understanding of ad server logs. Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues within tag parameters and macros that are passing data across multiple systems
  • Experience managing a team of 3 or more
  • Proven record of working cross functionally with 3 or more departments
  • Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate relationships and negotiate with internal clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to meet deadlines and partner timeline expectations
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
