Digitization poses majorchallenges for many companies and will change processes immensely in the comingyears. This is also the case at Siemens Mobility GmbH – as an IT SolutionArchitect (f/m/d), you will actively help shape and accompany a SiemensTeamcenter transformation project. The project works according to the SAFemethodology and aims to replace the current SAP PLM system with a modernTeamcenter system for approximately 15 000 users

We are looking for an IT Solution Architect –Teamcenter System

You’ll make a difference by:

Youare a Solution Architect in the Siemens Teamcenter transformation and member ofits System Architects team. As that you are responsible for the overarchingsolution and define key architectural decisions. Youwill analyze the business requirements and the existing IT landscape (SAP andother systems) and translate this into a solution design for Teamcenter toensure optimal integration and the replacement's completeness. Youwill design, implement and optimize complex Teamcenter solutions/modules andsuitable architectures for the Siemens Mobility Business. Youwill be responsible for defining and integrating Teamcenter solutions,including interface design to ERP and legacy systems, into the company'secosystem. Youare part of the team that will maintain and control rules and guidelines forthe implementation process in the project. That includes its change and releaseprocess, software selection criteria, customization guidelines anddocumentation rules. Youwill be responsible for the overarching architecture of the system beyond theproject period. This includes maintaining the solution in the running service,e.g., by solving errors and optimizing the system with change requests As amember of an agile, international team (SAFe methodology), you will workclosely with the business owners, product owners, the supplier's implementationexperts and other experts in the team as well as across teams.

Youhave a degree (Master's/Diploma) in computer science, business informatics or asimilar field of study. 10+years of in-depth experience in the field of Teamcenter design &development, as well as configuration/customizing, with a distributed systemenvironment and integration of major software tools. Indepth knowledge of Teamcenter Data Model and its usage is must Youhave an understanding to end to end Processes within Teamcenter Knowledgeof integrating different authoring tools to PLM backbone is desirable Youhave experience in various Teamcenter interface solutions (e.g., TeamcenterActive Integration Gateway, SAP connection with T4S/T4ST) Specialexperience in Document Management or the collaboration solution SupplierConnect would be a plus. Youalso have experience in the implementation of major projects and changerequests, including the associated controlling and administration. Youhave in depth knowledge of overall all customization possibilities withinTeamcenter Ideally,you also have experience in working in agile project teams Youhave a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working andexperience in global teams and, ideally, in the technical leadership/managementof employees. Extraordinarilygood English skills required due to the global orientation of the role, withGerman language skills being an additional advantage. Highlyself-motivated. Abilityto lead change.
