Qualifications

Required Qualifications  

1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. Demonstrated track record of leading teams for product development and ability to communicate effectively to work cross multiple disciplines and functions((PM, Test, Hardware Engineers, Software Engineers etc.) Experience with product lifecycle, bug /requirements management tools (ex: ADO, JIRA), Agile/Scrum methodology. Deep experience with embedded system software development, especially at a system architectural level. Experience in driving software-firmware development spanning product development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. Experience in micro controllers, USB protocols

Responsibilities

Interface closely with various hardware, software, and firmware communities within Microsoft to deliver the best possible solutions for our products.  Create, maintain and control the various project schedules and dashboards, facilitate meetings to drive solutions, and proactively identify risks to the subsystem. Understand and articulate the unmet customer needs in the subsystem and drive new features into our products to per the goal of continuous innovation. Participate in the post launch engineering process for the MCU/USB subsystem; drive features as well as bug fixes for in-market programs as well as feed forward solutions for new products. Generate and communicate insights and top-level scorecards for our engineering systems/sub-systems. Collaborate across disciplines from engineering to research and design.
