Role Summary/Job Specifications:
·Whistle blower Mechanism: Administration of cases, ensuring compliance to the Board policy and review of Board policy.
·Providing legal support in product filings - 1. Ensure timely filing of products; 2. Drafting of policy document and related documents; 3. Establish a balance between legally enforceable and plain English/ easy to understand language in the Policy contract; 4. Document the learnings on Policy Contracts; 5. Responding to IRDAI observations and alignment of product documents.
·Provide Innovative business solutions and models co-created to enable business growth - 1. Partnering with various functions to implement initiatives and initiate new distribution tie-ups smoothly; 2. Provide effective and well researched legal advice to business. 3. Ensuring effective legal advisory.
·Reporting: Internal & external reports, excluding regulatory reporting: Assisting in timely submission of reports to senior management, Board, Group/ Joint Venture entities and maintaining records, and prepare presentations/ notes for regulatory bodies/ senior management.
·Assist in formulating SOP/ Policy/ Process Notes pursuant to regulations/ guidelines or internal requirements.
·IFSCA Regulatory Mechanism: Ensure implementation of IFSCA regulations and deploy regulatory compliance framework for IFSC branch of the Company
