Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of account managers, ensuring exceptional client service and operational excellence in financial management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing client relationships and financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their financial needs and goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance, to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic insights to support decision-making and optimize client financial strategies.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in financial software, leveraging technology to enhance team efficiency and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and client satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the finance industry, with a strong background in client management and financial operations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate effectively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
