They may also keep track of office expenses.  Other dutiesReceptionists may also receive and distribute mail and deliveries, take inventory of supplies, and sign for deliveries.  Receptionists may also be known as desk executives, front desk officers, office assistant secretaries, or medical receptionists.  Employers typically expect receptionists to have good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills. They may also ask for GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, and relevant work experience.
