Intro and job overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying applications in our next-gen Data Integrity Suite platform based on k8’s. You will work closely with Software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver business value.
Responsibilities and Duties:
We are seeking a Data Scientist-I with expertise in design and development of data and ML centric applications at scale. The right candidate should have a background in Data science, working with Machine learning algorithms and frameworks and requisite experience developing data engineering pipelines.As a Data Scientist-I you will be responsible for utilizing your analytical, statistical and programming skills to collect, analyze and interpret large data sets. This information can be used to develop data-driven solutions to solve difficult business challenges and analyze trends to make better decisions.The candidate technically leads & delivers multi-project functionality in each product release. Accountable for quality of work, results obtained and productivity of the employee's supervised. It is essential that the individual has fast learning abilities. Initiative is required to drive solutions to problems when working in a team. She/he will be flexible to work on multiple tasks based on project priorities.Requirements and Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, has a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field, and is familiar with the open source Machine learning tools.Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with LLM based applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.Knowledge of transforming data science prototypes and applying appropriate ML algorithms and tools.Experience in designing machine learning systems and self-running artificial intelligence AI software to automate predictive models.Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL, etc.Good to have:Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using: Qlik, D3, ggplot, etc.Experience in OpenCV, Keras/PyTorch/Tensorflow.Experience with cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)Experience in geo-spatial domain - geocoding , location intelligence etc is Big plus.#LI-SA1
