We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Associate Software Engineer II with 1-3 years of experience in Scala and Spark. The ideal candidate will have solid programming skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for solving complex problems. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions.


Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Scala and Spark. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team membersTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software applicationsContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologiesStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitiveComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience1+ years of professional experience in software developmentProficiency in Scala and SparkFamiliarity with data processing frameworks and toolsProven excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailProven solid communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teamsProven to be self-motivated with a solid desire to learn and grow

Preferred Qualification:

Solid programming skills and experience with other languages such as Java or Python
