Job Description

Western Digital is setting up a Global Creative Development Centre in Bangalore. We are hiring Creative Directors, Copywriters, Video Creators and Art Directors to develop digital-led campaigns for the Western Digital product brands for B2B and B2C markets across the globe. To be developed in partnership with our global marketing team and the creative team in Bangalore, these campaigns will extend across multiple media formats including print, outdoor, packaging and interactive.

We are seeking a talented and driven art professional to join our global design team in Bangalore, India.  As a senior art resource, you will support the Creative Director - Art in creative development and extending the campaign across multiple assets for global markets. Experience in designing for mainline and digital brands is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Creative Director and copywriter to develop, adapt and extend campaign assets that will appeal across geographies.
  • Create compelling and visually appealing static and animated assets.
  • Design digital and print assets including packaging, brochures, banners, and global product campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our global design team to ensure that all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and style.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design software, and techniques to continuously improve your design skills and output.
  • Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback from global partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent skills and experience, in Applied Art/Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a reputed agency
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and techniques.
  • Should have worked on brands in mainline and digital agencies.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of Video editing.
  • Awareness and familiarity with using Generative AI tools like MidJourney, Dall-E, Adobe Firefly will help.
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Experience designing for digital and print media.
  • Prior experience of working on technology brands will be a bonus.
  • Good communication skills in English and ability to work in a global environment.
  • Knowledge of creating final artworks, print production is desirable.
