Job Overview


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team at May I Help You. As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining the structural integrity of various projects. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in structural design engineering. The job is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and is a full-time employment opportunity.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in structural design engineering
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software is a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Designing and analyzing structures such as buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Performing structural analysis and calculations using software tools
  • Ensuring adherence to all safety and building codes
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction professionals
  • Participating in project meetings and providing technical expertise
  • Reviewing and approving structural designs, reports, and drawings
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality
  • Troubleshooting and resolving structural design issues
  • Keeping up to date with industry standards and advancements in structural engineering
