Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- QA Lead 
We’re offering a fast-paced, project delivery environment and a chance to draw on your organizational, leadership and Quality Assurance skills to achieve optimal outcomes for our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to manage and mentor a team. The Test Manager will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, ensuring the quality and performance of our software products, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders in the technology and product teams, you will understand the Tapestry development roadmap and you will deploy a QA strategy that will uplift all types of testing in the team to help deliver that roadmap.
Responsibilities

• QA automation engineer to support the development of new test automation scripts and the uplift of existing to handle new features. 
• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and procedures.
• Support the development of new test automation scripts and the uplift of existing to handle new features. 
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Monitor and track team performance.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
• Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Select the appropriate testing methodologies and tools.
• Design and execute functional, non-functional, and performance tests.
• Automation initiatives to reduce functional defects and uncover performance problems early, well before code is released into production.
• Automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Proactively identify potential quality risks.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Monitor and track the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts.
• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Stay up to date on the latest quality assurance methodologies and tools.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively to ensure everyone is aligned on quality goals.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on technical design.
• Generate and present key quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify trends and patterns in quality data.
• Make data-driven recommendations to improve quality performance.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Proven experience in leading and managing software quality assurance teams.
• Proven experience in developing a QA strategy/approach, assessing and uplifting existing QA practice and embedding a rigorous QA culture.
• Expert in multiple QA approaches including TDD, BDD and Risk based Testing.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team of QA engineers and QA Leads.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in test management tooling e.g., JIRA, TestRail.
• Expertise in automated testing frameworks e.g., Selenium, JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools e.g., LoadRunner.
• Ability to design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience in bug tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have experience with mobile application testing
• Understanding of security testing principles.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks. 
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience with AWS and automating UI tests in SaaS platforms.
• Experience in automation of messaging technologies such as SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter.
