Position: Web Designer

We are seeking a talented and innovative web designer with expertise in Zoho Sites and other website builders (Squarespace, WordPress, etc.), along with skills in website building, graphic design, and video editing. SEO and PPC

This role demands a creative individual and experienced web designer to join our innovative team to transform ideas into visually appealing and user-friendly websites while ensuring optimal performance across various platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

       Web Design and Development:

  • Create visually stunning and functional websites using Zoho Sites and other website builders.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and site maps to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling design solutions.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for various devices, and adhere to best practices in web design and development.

Graphic Design and Branding:

  • Design custom graphics, icons, and branding elements that align with the company’s identity, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and usability of our digital properties.
  • Create engaging and on-brand graphics, marketing materials, and banners for use across websites, social media, and other marketing channels.
  • Utilize graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) to produce high-quality visual content
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality visuals that enhance our brand image.

Video Editing & Multimedia Design:

  • Produce, edit and integrate high-quality promotional videos and multimedia content for the website, social media, and other marketing channels to enhance user engagement on the website.
  • Work together with the content/marketing team to develop engaging video content that aligns with the overall branding strategy and message.

User Experience (UX) Design and Performance Monitoring:

  • Focus on creating user-friendly, intuitive layouts with easy navigation and high engagement rates.
  • Analyse website performance metrics and user feedback to make informed design improvements to optimize the user experience continuously.
  • Stay updated on the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure the website remains competitive, innovative and effective.

SEO & PPC Optimization:

  • Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices to boost search engine visibility and organic traffic.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure website content is optimized for paid campaigns and organic growth.
  • Join hands with marketing teams to create PPC campaigns that drive traffic to increase visibility and conversions.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design or a similar role.
  • Proven experience with Zoho Sites or other website builders (e.g. Squarespace, WordPress, Wix).
  • Work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in web design, UX/UI design principles and practices, and multimedia content.

 

  • Familiarity with social media design, content management systems, and PPC strategies

Design Skills:

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Well versed in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.),
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail and creativity.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs) and PPC advertising strategies.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
