Oracle apps developer

Responsibilities of this positioninclude but are not limited to the creation and maintenance ofOracle EBS and or Fusion (Oracle Engagement Cloud) applicationprograms to maximize operating efficiency and/or competitiveadvantage.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

  • Work directly withFunctional and IT Business Analysts to design and develop technicalsolutions to meet businessrequirements.
  • Collaborate with ITstaff and business on problemresolution.
  • Maintain existingsoftware and provide technical support for thosesystems.
  • Design code testdebug and implement technicalsolutions.
  • Recommend andimplement system processes to meet businessrequirements
  • Write and maintaindetailed design specificationdocumentation.

ADDITIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct reviewsessions with the business to produce the desiredresults.
  • Program migrationusing Serena and other migrationtools.
  • Continues personaldevelopment to stay abreast of changes and new techniques withinthe field of applicationdevelopment.
  • Updates Service NowTicket System to report progress ofresolution.
  • Perform other relatedduties asassigned.

REPORTINGRELATIONSHIPS:

Jane Starner IT Director

INTERACTIONS:

Reports progress and resolvestechnical issues with supervisor as required. Collaborates with theSoftware Quality Assurance role for testing. Collaborates withOracle Solution Analysts/business analysts to specify programrequirements. Devotes majority of time programming softwaresolutions. Consults with peers Corporate ITSS and outsideconsultants as required.

POSITIONELIGIBILITYREQUIREMENTS:

  • Minor business travelpossible.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in thefollowing:
    • SQL PL/SQL andtuning
    • Experience withOracle EBS suite of development tools including BI PublisherBPEL/SOA OBIEE Oracle Applications Framework Oracle Workflow OracleForms/personalization/OAF and OracleReports
  • Candidates with thefollowing skills will receive additional preference:
    • Implementationexperience
    • Oracle DataIntegrator or similar softwareexperience
    • Java
    • APEX
    • Experience withOracle Cloud or Cloudintegration
    • Serena BusinessManager
    • ServiceNow
  • Abilityto work effectively in a fastpaced implementationenvironment.
  • Ability to unit testprograms and correct defects prior to delivering for usertesting.
  • Proactive; takes theinitiative to seek process and performanceimprovements.
  • Strong problemsolvingcollaborative and communication skill (written andverbal)
