About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with aproven track record in optimizing distribution networks and drivingsales growth particularly in the innerwear sector. The preferredcandidate for the role of Deputy Manager (Sales &Distribution). The proposed candidate must have a deepunderstanding of the innerwear market and a strong ability todevelop and implement strategic plans. They will have demonstratedleadership skills with the capacity to lead a team towardsexceeding sales targets and optimizing distribution channels.market leadership we encourage you to apply and make a significantimpact on our growth journey.


Key Roles& Responsibilities:

a) Strategic DistributionPlanning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensivedistribution strategies to maximize market penetration and productavailability.
  • Analyzemarket trends customer demands and geographic factors to optimizedistribution networks.
  • Identify and establish new distributionchannels and partnerships.

b) Distribution NetworkManagement:

  • Oversee and manage the entire distributionnetwork ensuring seamless and costeffective productdelivery.
  • Collaboratewith logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely andefficient inventory management.
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse operationstransportation and distribution centers to reduce costs and improveefficiency.

c) Inventory and Supply ChainCoordination:

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels and forecastdemand to prevent stockouts and overstocksituations.
  • Coordinate with production and procurementteams to align distribution schedules with manufacturingoutputs.
  • Implementbest practices for inventory management including tracking andreporting systems.

d) Vendor and PartnerManagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships withdistributors wholesalers and retailpartners.
  • Negotiatecontracts and agreements with distribution partners to ensurefavorable terms and conditions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews andaudits of distribution partners to ensure compliance andefficiency.

e) SalesManagement:

  • Lead the sales team to achieve and exceedsales targets for the innerwear division.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies andplans to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships withkey accounts distributors and retailers.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline ensuring accurateforecasting and effective territorymanagement.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to developpromotional campaigns and salesinitiatives.
  • Ensurebrand consistency and effective product positioning in themarket.

f) Team Leadership:

  • Lead mentor and develop thedistribution and sales teams to achieve high performance andoperational excellence.
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics forthe teams conducting regular evaluations and providingfeedback.
  • Foster aculture of continuous improvement and innovation within theteams.

g) Reporting andAnalysis:

  • Prepare and present detailed reports ondistribution and sales performance including key metrics such asdelivery times costs inventory levels and salestargets.
  • Usedatadriven insights to refine distribution and sales strategies andaddress any inefficiencies or challenges.
  • Stay updated on industry trends andtechnological advancements in distribution logistics andsales.
