JobDescription:Weare seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with 36 years ofexperience to help us design build and maintain a new dynamicportal for GradDreams. The ideal candidate will have a strongbackground in creating responsive userfriendly and SEOoptimizedWordPress websites with a focus on content management systems. Youwill collaborate with our marketing content and design teams tocreate a seamless digital experience for students andstakeholders.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Developdesign and maintain a WordPressbased website for GradDreamsincorporating dynamic content and userfriendlyinterfaces.
  • Buildand customize themes plugins and templates as needed to enhancewebsite functionality andaesthetics.
  • Implementa content management system (CMS) to allow for easy updates newspublishing and new contentintegration.
  • Collaboratewith UI/UX designers to ensure the website is visually appealinganduserfriendly.
  • Optimizethe website for speed performance and SEOensuring best practices arefollowed.
  • Integratethirdparty tools APIs and plugins as required (e.g. CRM analyticssocialmedia).
  • Performtroubleshooting updates and ongoing maintenance to ensure websitestability andsecurity.
  • Stayupdated with the latest WordPress development trends tools andtechniques to improve websiteperformance.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to ensure that the website aligns withbusiness goals and provides the best user experience forinternational and domesticstudents.




Requirements

RequiredSkills &Experience:

  • 36years of handson experience in WordPress websitedevelopment.
  • Strongunderstanding of frontend and backend technologies including HTML5CSS3 JavaScript PHP andMySQL.
  • Experiencewith WordPress themes and plugin development customization andmanagement.
  • Knowledgeof dynamic content management systems and integration withthirdpartytools.
  • Familiaritywith SEO best practices website optimization and responsive designprinciples.
  • Abilityto work with version control systems such asGit.
  • Strongproblemsolving skills with attention todetail.
  • Abilityto work independently and as part of a team managing multipleprojects anddeadlines.
  • Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to collaborate withnontechnicalteams.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Experiencewith WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms onWordPress.
  • Knowledgeof website security and optimizationpractices.
  • Familiaritywith Google Analytics Search Console and other web analyticstools.
  • Experiencein the education or consulting sector would be aplus.
