Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Tech strategy & Innovation Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary individual to join our company as the Vice President of Technology Strategy and Innovation. This role will be responsible for leading our technology strategy and driving innovation within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive research into current and emerging trends in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. Provide actionable insights that influence the execution of AI-driven initiatives within the organization.

Competitive Intelligence: Analyze and track competitor activities and advancements in data and AI technologies, providing updates and detailed reports on market movements and competitive positioning. Work closely with execution teams to ensure these insights inform ongoing development efforts.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the market. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to internal stakeholders, aiding in the execution of business-critical AI projects.

Innovation Tracking: Monitor the AI and data innovation landscape, identifying opportunities for the company to adopt new technologies and methods to enhance its offerings.

Collaboration: Support internal teams by providing research and data-backed insights that assist in product development, client engagements, and operational improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives

Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful execution of the technology strategy

Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations on how they can be leveraged to drive innovation and improve business processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology needs and opportunities across the organization

Drive the development and implementation of new technology initiatives, including overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources

Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities for the company

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology team and across the organization

Act as a thought leader and represent the company in technology-related events and conferences

Develop and maintain relationships with key technology partners and vendors to stay abreast of new developments and potential partnerships

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

Relevant years of experience in research roles within AI, data, or technology sectors, with a deep understanding of emerging technologies and market dynamics.

Proven expertise in conducting detailed industry and market research with a focus on AI and data services.

Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present findings to different internal audiences.

Experience in competitive intelligence and tracking trends within the AI and data landscape.

Familiarity with working cross-functionally to support teams with research, market intelligence, and the execution of data and AI initiatives.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Relevant years of experience in a technology leadership role, with a proventrack record of driving innovation and implementing successful technology strategies

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Excellent research and data interpretation skills.

Strong communication skills with experience in presenting insights and reports to various stakeholders.

Familiarity with AI technologies, big data, and analytics tools.
