Primary Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design: As a CloudOps Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, scalability, and costAutomation and DevOps: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline the deployment and management of cloud-based systems and applications. You will also implement DevOps methodologies and best practices to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changesPerformance and Availability: You will monitor the performance and availability of cloud-based systems and applications, and proactively identify and resolve issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems and applications are highly available and performantSecurity and Compliance: You will ensure that cloud-based systems and applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, and ensure that the systems and applications are compliant with regulations such as HIPAA and GDPRLeadership and Mentoring: You will mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement. You will lead by example in developing high-quality code and systems, and work with the team to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and standardsImplement DevOps methodologies and best practices to ensure fast and reliable delivery of software and infrastructure changesComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience12+ years of experience in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps methodologiesHighly experienced at designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using AzureHands-on experience in automation scripting and tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Python, or BashProven experience in implementing DevOps methodologies and best practicesProven experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems and applicationsSolid knowledge of security and compliance standards and regulationsProven excellent communication and collaboration skills
