Job Brief
As the Online Sales Head, you will spearhead the management of one of our esteemed client's online sales teams, devise and implement effective online sales strategies, and steer revenue growth across various digital channels. This pivotal role demands an in-depth understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing and adept sales management skills.
Experience
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, SEO, and B2C online channel trading.
- Additional experience in catalog management, lead generation, and product/site launch is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Online Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute an overall online sales strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
- Identify and exploit new opportunities for online sales growth across diverse digital channels.
2. Sales & Margin:
- Drive sales and margin by providing input on product and service offerings.
- Develop and execute launch strategies for the online business.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments on processes.
- Facilitate alliances to outsource/synergize products and services.
- Manage Marketplace alliances and vendor management.
3. Digital Marketing & Offline Marketing:
- Devise strategies to boost online traffic to the company website.
- Track conversion rates and implement improvements to the website.
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.
- Utilize various techniques, including paid search and SEO.
- Oversee the social media strategy for the company.
- Manage online brand and product campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
- Improve the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website.
- Assume responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data.
4. Customer Service & User Experience:
- Devise strategies to enhance the user experience on the website.
- Analyze and respond to customer service feedback.
- Lead customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives.
- Lead and manage the database of online customers.
5. Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a team of online sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications
- MBA/PG from premium institutes.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
