The legal team at our organization has a range of responsibilities, including analyzing business requirements to ensure legal compliance, managing contracts, identifying and mitigating legal risks, and more. About the Role
As the Senior legal Counsel, you will work with the Deputy General-Legal Counsel and the legal team on drafting and negotiating various contracts.
A Day in the Life
Ensure month-end and year-end account closing activities and reconciliationsEnsuring compliance with all the applicable policies and GAAPs.Analyzed monthly and quarterly financial statements and presented the reports to the senior management.Reviewing the monthly accruals and ensuring the correctness and completenessProvide professional guidance to peers and subordinates.Prepared documentation/memos for annual external auditsManage a team of accountants.Negotiating sales contracts with US clients with healthcare providers, healthcare payers, pharma companies etc.Negotiating complex procurement and partnership contracts with US entitiesNegotiating procurement contracts with India vendorsProvide legal opinion on company policies and processesRegulatory research and complianceLiaise with external counsel on contracts, compliance, disputes, IP related matters etc.Drive efficiency in contracting and other legal processesWhat You Need
Drafting and negotiating IT contracts, including software licenses, SAAS, IT consulting services etc. for US clients.Experience in healthcare/pharmaceuticals industry preferred Some exposure in legal research and complianceWe offer competitive benefits to set you up for success in and outside of work.
