Job Summary:
As a MicrosoftDynamics Data Developer you will be responsible for managingmigrating and integrating data within the Microsoft Dynamics 365environment. You will work closely with business analysts solutionarchitects and other developers to design and implement datasolutions that drive business insights streamline data processesand ensure data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration and Migration:
Design anddevelop ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes to migrate data fromlegacy systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales Finance &Operations Customer Service etc.).
Develop and implementdata integration solutions between Dynamics 365 and externalsystems using middleware tools like Azure Logic Apps Power AutomateSSIS or other integration tools.
Create and maintaincustom data entities ensuring proper mapping and transformation ofdata.
Perform data migrations including data cleansingmapping and validation ensuring the accuracy and completeness oftransferred data.
Data Management and Optimization:
Design and implement data storage strategies thatoptimize performance and scalability within Dynamics 365.
Develop and maintain database structures indexes andrelationships that support Dynamics 365 applications.
Ensure the integrity and security of data implementing bestpractices for data governance and compliance with regulations (e.g.GDPR).
Monitor and optimize the performance of dataqueries reports and processes to ensure efficient systemoperations.
Reporting and Business Intelligence:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gatherreporting requirements and develop custom reports and dashboardsusing Power BI Dynamics 365 builtin reporting tools or SSRS.
Develop and deploy data models and visualizations thatprovide actionable business insights to stakeholders.
Implement Power BI reports and dashboards that connect to Dynamics365 data sources ensuring realtime analytics and reportingcapabilities.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders tounderstand business requirements and translate them into datadrivensolutions.
Collaborate with solution architects anddevelopers to design and implement endtoend data solutions thatintegrate seamlessly with Dynamics 365 applications.
Provide support to users and troubleshoot datarelated issuesensuring timely resolution and continuous system improvements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degreein Computer Science Information Systems Data Science or a relatedfield.
Experience:
o 4 years of experience indata management migration or integration within Microsoft Dynamics365 or similar enterprise platforms.
o Proven experiencewith SQL Server TSQL and database management tools.
oExperience with ETL processes and tools (e.g. SSIS Azure DataFactory) for data migration and integration.
o Strongexperience in developing reports and data models using Power BI orsimilar BI tools.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of MicrosoftDynamics 365 data architecture and data model including customentities data relationships and database structure.
oProficiency in data migration tools such as SSIS KingswaySoftScribe or similar ETL solutions.
o Experience with AzureData Factory Azure Logic Apps or other cloudbased integrationservices.
o Advanced knowledge of SQL Server TSQL anddatabase performance optimization techniques.
oProficiency in Power BI for building data models reports anddashboards that connect to Dynamics 365 data sources.
Data Management Skills:
o Strong understanding of datagovernance data security and data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR).
o Experience in designing and managing data integrationsbetween Dynamics 365 and thirdparty systems.
ProblemSolving and Analytical Skills:
o Excellentproblemsolving skills with the ability to analyze datarelatedissues and implement effective solutions.
o Ability tooptimize data queries streamline data processes and ensureefficient data retrieval.
Communication andCollaboration:
o Strong communication skills with theability to collaborate effectively with both technical andnontechnical stakeholders.
o Ability to workcollaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment to deliverdata solutions aligned with business goals.
PreferredQualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 DataAnalyst or related certifications.
Experience withMicrosoft Common Data Service (Dataverse) and the Power Platform(Power Automate Power Apps).
Familiarity with Agilemethodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps for managingtasks and development workflows.
