Job Purpose

Carrying out occupational medicine duties, treating employees and/or applying or referring them for specialized medical and hospital treatment.

Job Description

. Carrying out occupational medical examinations in accordance with the procedures defined by the PCMSO and in compliance with the relevant legislation on the subject: admission, periodic, change of function, return to work and those with special needs in order to assess whether they are fit to carry out their work activities or whether they should be relocated; as well as monitoring and evaluating the results of occupational examinations at partner clinics 
. Analyzing and validating medical certificates in order to keep track of cases of absence from work for reasons related to occupational medicine;
. Requesting medical examinations from the INSS, and following up on cases 
. Participating in preventive health campaigns, seeking alternatives for implementation and application to employees;
. Providing assistance to labor and social security inspectors, supplying the information requested and clarifying specific questions;
. Answering questions about the interpretation of special needs in relation to the company's activities, with a view to ensuring that all employees with these needs are suitable for their duties and jobs.
. Establishing cause and effect relationships in relation to the work environment.

You are meant for this job if:

•Degree in Medicine, Postgraduate in Occupational Medicine with REQ

Experience working in occupational medicine, preferably in the oil and gas sector.

Intermediate English
