The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within the firm to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields.

The primary responsibility of this job is to ensure the growth of the organization’s technology portfolio through concept/idea formulation and prototype development in line with the business strategy, requirement, and specifications. These individuals participate in the evolution and development of new innovative architectures and methods to maintain, upgrade, replace and improve the long-term performance of the existing architectures. They will be required to interact with development teams, Project Managers and Business Analysts and create and/or translate business requirements into executable plans.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

Expertise in Hyperion Application Installation and Configuration of version 11.2.x and 11.1.x.xTroubleshooting of Installation Issues.Experience upgrading from one Hyperion version to another & assisting with the implementation and enhancement of system upgradesGood in-depth understanding of Hyperion backup and recovery methodologies.Primary responsibility is to provide technical and user support for Hyperion application modules, specifically Essbase and Planning. Also assist in support of HFM,HFR, FCM, OBIEE, FDMEE and ODI etc... on an as need basis.Assists with technical infrastructure issues.Responding to Incidents/Issues.Monitor, support and diagnose application systems to ensure specifications are met and maintain software updates.Provide user training and technical expertise on Hyperion products to support various department needs.perform monthly and yearly administration tasks (i.e., creating/updating substitution variables, adding user security, loading and copying data etc...)Maintain Essbase BSO and ASO outlines, calc scripts, MDX scripts and data loadsNeed expertise in planning web forms, task lists, utilities, macros, businee rules and securityExperience with batch scripting in DOS with essbase and planningExpertise in Modules like HFM, HFR, FDMEE, ODI, FCM etc...Assist Junior resources as and when needed.Need to work independently to support customer issues and work on customer tasks.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).

Required Experience:

Seasoned years of work experience.Seasoned experience required in Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization.Seasoned experience of Managed Services.Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes.Excellent experience working with vendors and/or 3rd parties.Seasoned experience managing Packaged Application technologies such as ERP, Middleware and other business critical software.
