Job DescriptionTheideal candidate will be responsible for managing the site scompensation and benefits programs ensuring they are competitivecompliant and aligned with the organization s goals. This role actsas subject matter expert and provides support for theimplementation and administration of employee compensation andbenefit programs and policies. The role requires experience inemployee benefits including absence and time away benefits healthand welfare benefits financial wellness and retirement benefits aswell as wellbeing benefits and incentives. This position worksdirectly with compensation & benefit vendors andoutsourcing partners on plan setup and resolution of issues. Thisrole will help plan and assist in administering employeecompensation & benefit programs and policies to align withCignas organizational goals total rewards strategy and emerginglegislative changes. The individual will support the administrationimplementation and communication of employee compensation &benefit plans policies and wellness programs employee benefitrelated processes policies compliance communication and otherrelated initiatives.Keyresponsibilities:
  • Manage andadminister the company s compensation and benefits programsincluding salary structures bonuses and health insuranceplans
  • Conduct research and analysis on industrystandards and best practices to ensure the company s compensationand benefits packages remaincompetitive
  • Participate in salary surveys andbenchmarking studies to ensure the company s pay practices are inline with market trends
  • Assisting employees& HR colleagues with benefit and policy related questionsor issues
  • Coordinates with various C&Bvendors HR Operations and payroll on daytoday issues and policyquestions
  • Participate in all necessary testingfor HRIS system coding annual enrollment compensation planningpolicy changes etc.
  • Acting as a liaison withall vendors and outsourcing partners in the C&Bspace
  • Keeping up to date on legislative changespertaining to pay and benefitspractices
  • Responsible for any regulatoryfilings and vendor performance tracking
  • Partnerwith HRBPs and global C&B colleagues in implementation ofannual compensation & bonus planning STI/LTIprograms
  • Provide local intelligence on careerarchitecture design pay ranges design and review them asneeded
Communications:
  • Prepareand maintain accurate employee communications pertaining tocompensation and benefits programs policy changes andadditions
  • Assist with allemployee compensationand benefits presentations webinars and new employee benefitsorientation as needed
  • Ensure propercommunication of compensation and benefits policy information onthe company s intranet and external marketing for newhires/perspective candidates
  • Ensure propercommunication of all C&B offerings when emailing orotherwise communicating directly with employees andmanagers
  • Responsible for partnering withinternal/external communication resources to develop and deliver aneffective communication that assist in communicating policy andengaging employees.
QualificationsNeeded:
  • Minimum of 12 years ofexperience in HR compensation and benefits domain working for alarge global employer strongly preferred
  • Strongworking knowledge of current compensation and benefit practices andtrends
  • Experience working with variouscompensation plans group benefit plans; time away from workprograms highly desirable
  • Knowledge ofC&B laws and regulations inIndia
  • Ability to manage ambiguity operatingeffectively even when things are not certain or the way forward isnot clear.
  • Nimble learning ability to activelylearning through experimentation when tackling new problems usingboth successes and failures as learningfodder
  • Excellent oral and written communicationwith demonstrated presentation/facilitation skills accuracy andthoroughness emphasizing attention to detail. Expertise in ExcelWord and Power Point required
  • Demonstratedcustomer service orientation with ability to provide service andremain focused even during emotionally chargedcircumstances
  • Ability to handle confidentialinformation with discretion and exercise goodjudgment
  • Proactive team member with attentionto detail and follow through
  • Highly organizedaction oriented and able to work independently. Uses timeefficiently to meet deadlines with demonstrated ability to adapt tochange while consistently meetingdeadlines
