Job summary


The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative focused on the telco vertical to join us in Farnborough, U.K. In this role, you will work with an experienced field sales account manager to enable sales growth for both new and existing customers for global accounts. You’ll be responsible for renewals and life cycle management, ensuring continuous customer engagement throughout the process. You’ll identify, nurture, and close renewal opportunities with both new and existing customers. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to optimize customer engagement and efficiency, creating solutions that serve both Red Hat and our customers.


Primary job responsibilities


- Provide continuous customer engagement throughout the customer life cycle process
- Follow through with the customers post-sale to ensure product adoption and deployment
- Send out customer welcome kits to help customers maximize their subscription value
- Discuss value of Red Hat subscriptions and encourage the use of our support portal
- Identify and escalate under-deployment or areas of perceived risk to account team
- Review customer scorecard and dashboard to identify support consumption
- Identify additional opportunities for upsell and cross-sell
- Guide customer renewal conversation to closure


Required skills


- Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position in either outside, inside, or telesales or  in sales administration; record of achieving sales goals
- Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
- High-quality customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on your own to close deal values of up to 250K over the phone
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with reporting, spreadsheets, and office tools
- Fluent language skills in English and French; knowledge of additional European languages, e.g., Italian is a plus
