ETO Rotating Equipment Engineer

Perform equipment sizing, selection, supporting procurement, reviewing engineering documents and following up with vendors for all types of rotating equipment. Keep abreast of Industry Codes and Guidelines related to rotating equipment. Collaborate internally and provide the required deliverables pertaining to project/proposal. Support commissioning and maintenance of rotating equipment for Production Facilities. 5+ years of Industry experience. Prior work experience in EPC, Engineering consultancies, and production facilities. Experienced in FEED & EPC projects. * Maintain state-of-the art knowledge in sizing and selecting rotating/packaged equipment such as pumps (all types), compressors, instrument air packages, nitrogen generation packages, chemical injection packages, Gas Engine generators, Gas Turbines, etc. used in plant and field facilities. * Develop datasheets, technical specifications, technical requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for rotating and packaged equipment. * Review the engineering documents from vendors on time and ensure compliance with project requirements. * Ensure timely submission of project deliverables as per Master Document List (MDL). * Attend the Factory Acceptance Test(FAT) at vendor works and validate the test reports. * Shall be competent in defining the performance guarantee for large rotating equipment. * Supervise the third-party engineering contractor and vendors. * Proficient with computer-assisted vendor sizing tools in selecting pumps and compressors. * Perform calculations on power requirements for sizing the motors and engines. * Shall be proficient in doing CAPEX and OPEX cost analysis in determining the life cycle cost of the equipment. * Mentor colleagues and guide developing the engineering deliverables. * Collaborate with cross-functional team, vendors, fabricators, and third-party inspection agencies to oversee the engineering fabrication, inspection and testing of rotating equipment. * Participate in 3D model review, HAZOP, and SIL study for the scope involving all types of rotating equipment and packages. * Provide engineering hours estimate during proposals for its discipline. Responsible for tracking engineering hours for its discipline during project execution * Advise and assist project and discipline engineers with the interpretation and clarification of applicable industry codes and Client specification requirements. * Perform on-site start-up and/or trouble shooting of rotating and packages equipment. * Maintain state-of- the-art knowledge in is discipline in accordance to applicable codes and standards. * Provide support to processing facilities as required by Operations on engineering/technical matters. * Travel to the project site for troubleshooting, supporting installation and commissioning activities. * Involve in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and collaborate with OEM for solutions. * Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfil project and business needs. * Actively support, participate in and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility HSE program, ensuring a safe/healthy work environment. * Effective implementation of quality systems, procedures, management of change and revision control. Education Qualification : • Bachelor degree in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or Similar. Experience : • 6-8+ years O&G Industry experience • Prior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies, O&G Operating companies. Expertise : • Thorough process engineering knowledge with strong Engineering background • Oil & Gas Upstream Processes
