Position: Head of Department – Sports

Location: Residential IB School, Tamil Nadu

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sports Department (HOD – Sports) to lead and oversee the school's sports and physical education programs. The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of prior experience as a Sports HOD in a reputed school, preferably with exposure to IB curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and implement a comprehensive sports curriculum aligned with the school's philosophy.
• Supervise and mentor the sports faculty and coaches.
• Organize inter-house and inter-school tournaments, events, and training camps.
• Ensure students' holistic development through fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Manage sports facilities, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with school leadership to integrate sports with academic and co-curricular programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Education or Sports Science.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience as Sports HOD in a reputed school.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in a residential and/or IB school preferred.
