*Position Title*
Lead - Sourcing & Contracting Transmission Lines

*Purpose of Role*
Responsible for end to end Strategic Sourcing in Transmission and Substation.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-bid support to the bidding team and establish pre-bid tie-ups with EPC contractors and OEMs.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, build EPC/supplier relationship and timely completion of Projects.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with EPC/suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standard in all procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as bidding, D&E, Projects, Operations and QA to optimize procurement outcome.
  • Be proactive and innovative with ideas to improve CPAEX cost.
  • Review weekly / bi weekly various on going SCM related issues and bids with Team.
  • Proven track record in negotiating large, complex contracts with OEMs and EPCs.
