Position Overview

The Lead, Procurement & Supply Chain

is responsible for end-to-end procurement and vendor coordination. The role includes sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, creating and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with vendors and warehouses for timely deliveries, supporting invoice/GRN verification, and maintaining supplier and pricing data to enable accurate and cost-effective procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
  • Support purchase order creation and follow-ups.
  • Maintain vendor records, pricing sheets, and documentation.
  • Track deliveries, verify invoices, and coordinate with accounts.
  • Use MIS and Excel to track deliveries, coordinate with warehouse/receiving teams, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Prepare catalogue presentations.
  • Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation, delivery schedules, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain updated supplier databases, rate cards, and contract details.
  • Verify invoices, support GRN entry, and follow up on discrepancies with vendors and accounts.
  • Support the procurement team in preparing reports such as purchase summaries, savings reports, and vendor performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchase needs and timelines.
  • Understand basic quality checks during goods receipt and handle waybills and related documentation to ensure accurate and compliant deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 4 to 6 years of Experience in
    Gifting, Loyalty & Rewards, and Procurement

is mandatory.
- Strong procurement sourcing and vendor management experience.
- Proven negotiation skills with focus on cost and value.
- Ability in category building and category management.
- Exposure to market analysis and brand alliances/partnerships.
- Regional language skills are mandatory.
- Gifting knowledge and basic cash flow management related to procurement.
- Proficiency in procurement tools/ERPs (Zoho, Odoo, etc.).
- Strong focus on client/stakeholder satisfaction.
- Willingness to travel as required.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent, time-sensitive purchase requirements.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate supply, delivery, and vendor-related issues and address them proactively.
