Job Summary:

The Senior Warehouse Manager will be responsible for complete end-to-end management of

warehouse operations for an export house — overseeing inventory control of Finished Goods (FG)

and Raw Materials (RM), ensuring accurate inward/outward movement, FIFO implementation,

reporting, documentation, and dispatch coordination.

This position demands strong operational discipline, leadership, and data-driven management to

ensure timely order execution, cost efficiency, and compliance with company and export standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management

 Oversee entire warehouse lifecycle – inbound, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.

 Ensure accurate receipt, verification, and issue of goods with zero stock variance.

 Plan and maintain efficient warehouse layout, racking, and bin allocation.

 Monitor and maintain minimum/maximum stock levels to meet production and export

schedules.

1. Inventory Management & Control

 Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts, monthly audits, and reconciliation

reports.

 Prepare and review inventory reports – FG & RM stock, age analysis, slow/non-moving

items, and stock valuation.

 Implement and monitor FIFO / FEFO systems across all SKUs.

 Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch for real-time stock visibility.

1. Reporting & MIS

 Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse MIS reports – FG/RM

movement, stock ageing, dispatch status, and space utilization.

 Submit export-related inventory and dispatch summaries to management and operations

team.

 Develop KPI dashboards covering accuracy, throughput, manpower efficiency, and TAT.

1. Team Leadership & Supervision

 Lead, train, and monitor a team of warehouse supervisors, operators, and data entry staff.

 Ensure proper manpower planning as per inbound/outbound schedules.

 Conduct regular performance reviews and training on SOPs, systems, and safety.

1. Logistics & Dispatch Coordination

 Plan and coordinate with transporters, export logistics team, and production

departments for timely dispatch.

 Monitor vehicle scheduling, loading plans, and route optimization.

 Ensure accuracy of all dispatch documentation – GRNs, delivery challans, export packing

lists, invoices, etc.

1. Process & System Management

 Maintain and improve Warehouse Management System (WMS) / ERP (SAP, Oracle, Tally

Prime, etc.).

 Ensure real-time entry and accuracy of all warehouse transactions.

 Continuously review and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, minimize

errors, and control costs.

1. Compliance, Audit & Safety

 Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, audit requirements, and statutory norms.

 Maintain warehouse hygiene, safety, fire compliance, and 5S standards.

 Conduct regular safety drills and maintain all material handling equipment in good working

condition.

Educational Qualification:

 Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations / Commerce

 MBA / PG in Operations or Logistics Management (Preferred)

Key Skills & Competencies:

 Strong expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and export

documentation.

 Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

 Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

 Proven ability to implement FIFO systems and maintain data accuracy.

 Excellent planning, decision-making, and cost-control orientation.

 Working knowledge of EHS standards and warehouse audits.
