Job Description :-

1. Installation and Deployment

● Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables.

● Conduct site surveys to determine the optimal placement of fiber optic infrastructure.

● Set up and configure fiber optic equipment, including routers, switches, and related hardware.

● Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols during installation.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

● Perform routine maintenance on fiber optic networks to ensure optimal performance.

● Diagnose and repair fiber optic faults, including cuts, bends, and other forms of damage. ● Use testing equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and light sources to identify and resolve network issues.

● Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

3. Documentation and Reporting

● Maintain accurate records of all installation and maintenance activities.

● Prepare detailed reports on network performance, faults, and repairs.

● Update network diagrams and documentation to reflect changes and upgrades.

4. Customer Support

● Provide technical support and guidance to customers experiencing issues with their fiber optic connections.

● Work closely with the customer service team to resolve network-related issues promptly and efficiently.

● Conduct customer site visits when necessary to address and resolve technical problems. 5. Team Collaboration and Development

● Collaborate with network engineers, planners, and other technical staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of fiber optic networks.

● Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

● Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
