Liasoning Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with government officials, local authorities, and statutory bodies.
- Coordinate and obtain necessary approvals, licenses, permissions, and clearances for projects (e.g., land acquisition, environmental, building, factory, or business licenses).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and government policies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for submission to government departments.
- Track and follow up on submitted applications to ensure timely processing.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to interpret regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company in meetings with government agencies, industry associations, and public authorities.
- Keep management informed about regulatory changes that may impact business operations.
- Develop and maintain a database of government contacts and approval processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Projects, Legal, HR, Operations, etc.) to facilitate smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field. (Master's preferred.)
- 7–12 years of experience in liaisoning, government relations, or corporate affairs.
- Proven track record of dealing with government bodies and obtaining project approvals.
- Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required.
